Our History

The spark of inspiration came in early 2023 when Dominik created 'Martyr' – his inaugural composition. The leading note of this fragrance is smoke, inspired by youthful rebellion, the raw wildness of bonfires, and the heavy, black leather jacket emblematic of music subcultures. A year later, PROFUNDUM was born, a brand founded on the power of creativity. It's an olfactory manifesto, bound together by a bond of friendship. Thanks to this, together with Bartek, we create a cohesive vision that we are eager to share with the world.

Vision

Our brand is founded on the belief in a higher purpose: we aspire to create fragrances that inspire, evoke memories, and instill strength and confidence. Each composition reflects our profound memories, emotions, and nostalgia. We believe that scents are a fragment of the soul, an integral part of a person, capable of recalling both joyful and painful moments. Therefore, we consider the right fragrance to be the culmination of creation, able to alter the perception of an image, to become that single detail that imparts new meaning to a work. It makes jackets and coats retain the memory of an evening for a long time, scented shirts recall joyful moments, and the fleeting aroma of white flowers – the first days of spring. We do not categorize our fragrances by gender, occasion, or season; that choice is always yours.

The local aspect

Of our venture is of paramount importance to us. Our products, in many respects, reflect our native heritage. Therefore, we collaborate with local artists and entrepreneurs, and both our formulas and production process are entirely conducted in Poland. Our fragrances are crafted artisanally, in small batches, using the highest quality ingredients with a high concentration, reaching 42%. We aim to deliver not only exceptional olfactory experiences but also the best quality, often lacking in mainstream products. We partner with Polish studios and artisans who, like us, are passionate about their crafts. 'Martyr' was created in collaboration with Alan Balewski and his artisanal laboratory, by the Polish seaside.
